Our mission at Searchlight Church is to reach & teach the world to live & love like Jesus. We believe in a God who designed you and I for a personal relationship with him and healthy relationships with each other. The greatest first step you can take is to receive the love, forgiveness and relationship that Jesus is extending to you today! It’s not religion or your parents ideas or a list of do’s and don'ts, it is a one-on-one relationship with the Creator of the universe.

He loves you and has plan for you.

 

The Bible says this:

 

“...but God shows us his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

 

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

 

“Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

 

“...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

 

You don't have to be perfect. Through His death on the cross, and then coming back from the dead, Jesus took all of your wrong and gave you all of His right. If you believe that and commit to following Him, your life will never be the same. It’s as simple as repenting of your sin, declaring you want to follow Jesus, and believing He is who He says He is. Believing in Jesus is the first step on the greatest journey of your life. You haven’t finished the race—you’ve just gotten started.
