We believe church shouldn’t be boring, complicated, or fake. That’s why we are exciting, down to earth, and fun for the family! Searchlight is a casual Christian church. We're not interested in just "doing the church thing." We want to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world.
Searchlight is a Christian church. We follow Jesus, we teach from the Bible, and we worship God as the Creator and Ruler of the universe. Through our relationship with Christ, we are healed, renewed, redeemed, forgiven, transformed, and loved. It’s our passion to live the light and share this faith and hope with the world.
OUR STORY
Searchlight Church was born in the heart of Chris and Cheryl Colletti as they walked the boardwalk of Long Branch, praying for a church that people who didn’t go to church would love to be a part of. They began with less than 20 people meeting in a living room in early 2010, and kept growing.
Searchlight officially kicked off on November 7, 2010. Since then, we have been steadily growing and seeing dozens of lives changed along the way. Pastor Chris Colletti leads Searchlight with a strong vision and passion to see an authentic community committed to living like Jesus lived and loving like Jesus loves.
It’s a real, fresh movement of God – something we need in Monmouth County, and something you have to see to believe!
